Wichita Independents Special Olympics (WISO) is an organization for individuals with Intellectual Disabilities to come together through sports, health and nutrition programs. 

To be eligible to participate in Special Olympic, you must be at least 8 years old and identified by an agency or professional as having one of the following conditions:  intellectual disabilities, cognitive delays, or learning or vocational problems due to congnitive delay.  Special Olympics doesn't discriminate against gender, race, ethnicity and religious background. 

Sports Offered:

WISO offers sports year round for athletes.

 

Basketball, Bocce Ball, Bowling, Cheerleading, Cycling, Figure Skating, Flag Football, Golf, Horseback Riding, Skiing, Soccer, Softball, Swimming, Tennis, Track, Volleyball and Weight Lifting.
